Long red torpedo onion prized in speciality and Mediterranean cultures. The flavor is sweet, light and refined. Absolutely wonderful sauteed in a mixed salad of fresh tomatoes, olives and oregano. The tails can be used fresh, especially in omelettes. The bulbs are of smaller size, making them great for the preparation of pickles.
